Åre is Scandinavia’s most visited resort destination and one of northern Europe’s top resorts. Åre consists of 46 lifts and 102 pistes set above five village bases containing 31,000 beds. The resort sees over 1,000,000 skier days per year and plays host to the annual FIS World Cup, as well as the 2007 and upcoming 2019 Alpine Ski World Championships.
