The Lake Songhua Resort community is located in the valley just north of Qing Mountain, which is only 15 km from downtown Jilin. The vision for the property includes a four-season resort with skiing, golf, hotels, a variety of real estate products and amenities, and a new community with a range of housing types, schools, retail/commercial, parks and community services.

Mountainworks teamed with partner Design Workshop to act as the resort master planners, leading the developer team in a comprehensive master planning process for the four-season resort and community development. Mountainworks also acted as a ski area and facility consultant, creating plans for an integrated ski area, base village, and golf course capable of handing approximately 10,000 guests per day. The team guided the client in an extensive educational and benchmarking process to learn about successful mountain resorts developments. Upon completion, our local China based partners at Axis Leisure Management guided the Client through operational and management services. Lake Songhua Resort has been named China’s Best Ski Resort in 2018, 2019, and 2020.
