A five star resort destination designed from the ground up.
Located in the Vail Valley of Colorado, Beaver Creek is 1,800 skiable acre mountain resort. The area contains 150 runs, 25 lifts and an 18 hole golf course set across three development zones, Beaver Creek Village, Bachelor Gulch, and Arrowhead.
Mountainworks (International Alpine Design) founding partner, Mike Larson, was the primary planner and designer for the resort development at its infancy in the early 1980’s. Mike was a critical component in the Vail Resorts team, guiding the vision for the ski area, real estate, and village areas. He was also directly involved in the implementation and construction oversight for the first phases of the resort. Under this vision, Beaver Creek has grown into one of the notable resorts in the US and is awarded for the best guest service in the country.
